CALL FOR ARTISTS!
Cuatro Puntos, in collaboration with the Greater Hartford Arts Council and the Autorino Center for the Arts and Humanities at the University of Saint Joseph, is looking for artists to participate in a collaborative community project. Artists from the Greater Hartford region are invited to submit already-created pieces of art to Coming Home: A Hartford Collage.
When long-time Hartford resident and composer David Macbride wrote his monumental soundscape of the city of Hartford for Cuatro Puntos Ensemble, no one knew it would become his final work. Coming Home is a 28 minute sound journey though Hartford’s parks, rivers, cafes, and neighborhoods. It will be set to a collage of work by creatives from all around the city. Be a part of the collage! We are looking for artists to submit work to be displayed with the soundscape. The final piece will premiere at a virtual public event on Sunday, February 21st at 2pm. Participating artists will be invited to participate in a post-performance discussion.
DETAILS
· Deadline for submissions: February 8, 2021
· All disciplines of arts are invited to participate. Keep in mind that the only sound in the video will be David Macbride’s composition.

· To submit artwork (video or digital image files): Email files to or share via Google Drive with cuatropuntos.office@gmail.com. All files should be labeled with your information in the following format: “Coming Home – Your Name – Title of Your Work
