Sounds of Persia

The resident string quartet of Cuatro Puntos will be joined by Persian santur master Dr. Dariush Saghafi and Iranian-American composer Reza Vali. Get lost in a soundscape foreign from Western musical traditions as Dr. Saghafi performs a traditional improvised solo on santur, then hear two traditions merge as the Cuatro Puntos String Quartet and Dr. Saghafi perform Dr. Vali's compositions.
