Native Americans and the Impressionists

American Impressionist visual artists like Frederic Remington frequently used Native American themes. The same is true of American Impressionist composers such as Amy Beach and Charles Griffes. Hear music by American Impressionist composers, as well as a quintessential Impressionistic quartet by Maurice Ravel. This concert will be narrated by musicologist and Cuatro Puntos cellist Dr. Allan Ballinger.
